This 6th edition of the Symposium will focus on providing skills to health professionals and community promoters on emerging challenges in transgender health and implementation experiences to address these issues. We will summarise available epidemiological data and care guidelines for new infractions affecting the community, such as Mpox, as well as for chronic diseases affecting the population such as cervix and prostate cancer. Regarding STIs prevention, we will focus on new PrEP options, community acceptability and challenges of providing them in the real world. In terms of research, the lessons learned from conducting a clinical trial will be presented from the perspective of the researcher and the community engagement leader. This programme will close with different experiences of implementing de-medicalised and community-led interventions for prevention and treatment in transgender health. Finally, panellists will share points of view and will answer audience questions.
